Piano Academy provides an exceptional opportunity for beginning, intermediate and advanced piano students to study piano technique and collaborative music. Audition required. Daily private and group lessons will cover the skills of sight-reading, technique, ensemble playing, and more. Students will perform in a recital in Roshong Hall on the final day.

Tuition includes tickets to daily Durango Chamber Music Festival concerts, Sunday, June 5 at 4:00 p.m. (family kick-off concert) and Monday–Friday, June 6–10, from 12:15–12:45 p.m. in the St. Mark's Sanctuary. Parents are encouraged to purchase a Parent's Pass during the registration process and attend concerts with their young musicians. Please note that Piano Academy begins at St. Mark's at 12:15 and resumes from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at Jones Hall, FLC. Parents are responsible for their child's transportation to Fort Lewis College directly after the concerts.

Request audition time by sending an email to campi_l@fortlewis.edu. Be prepared to sightread and perform one piece. A recording (at visual angle so that hands are visible) may be substituted for the audition. Late registrations will be considered if there is space available.
